Including everyone: Equality and Inclusion in Composing
Tuesday, April 20th, 4 – 6pm, running on Zoom
In our fourth session of the series, we will be looking at equality and inclusion in composing. How can we as educators support students from different backgrounds to be composers? How can we encourage both girls and boys to participate? And, as we (hopefully) enter a period of Covid-recovery, how can we use composing to support students’ mental health?
Expect the usual combination of food for thought, presentations and an opportunity to discuss with colleagues how you can include all your students as composers.
NB: We are planning another session in July dedicated to diversity, including decolonising the curriculum, in July 2021.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
PS. This is the fourth session in a series of seven, which run monthly from January to July. You can find the recordings and resources from the previous sessions here >>
